Capital Campaign

Letter From The Headmaster

Dear Friends of FCA,

A Plan of Hope, is our capital campaign theme and it continues to ring true for what God has for Franklin Christian Academy. It draws on a meaningful scripture verse that has always been special to me, our school and I hope for you as well - Jeremiah 29:11. I am especially drawn to the idea that God has a plan and that His plan includes hope and a future. My hope is that you will join us on this special journey to take our students and families to a new level of success.

God has blessed FCA in ways we really could never have dreamed. We have been in our permanent home now for 4 years. We are thriving! With 86% retention, 30% growth, and waiting lists in almost all grades we are at capacity in this wonderful space.

Now is the time to take the next step in our evolution. The demand is clear. The need is great. Our community is growing and so is their awareness within it about who FCA is.  Our past success in walking with students and parents calls for us to expand our facility.

A Plan of Hope is a campaign divided into four phases designed to meet our current and future needs. Phase 1, completed in 2014, provided us eight classrooms (including an art studio and science lab), a gymnasium, and locker facilities.

Phase II is the next project on the horizon. This phase includes 10 additional   classrooms, a commons area for students and faculty, administrative offices, warming kitchen, a mezzanine with library and a media center. In addition, our objective is to complete both the football/soccer field and an additional large parking area that will connect Hwy 96 W through our campus to Old Charlotte Pike East.

We have been truly blessed by our donors – both past and current. Now is indeed the time to move forward and continue to live out our mission and vision in an expanded home designed for that purpose. Join us knowing that with God’s help we can truly make a difference.

With gratitude,

Hugh Harris
